Hello Again!
This year I decided to set myself some reading goals! This isn’t something I’ve attempted before so I’ve kept my goals simple and achievable (I hope)
- Re-read the Harry Potter Series! Can you believe that it’s been nearly two years since I re-read this wonderful series?? Time to sort that out I think.
- Try a new fantasy novel. YA Fantasy/Dystopian is a genre that I’ve tried a few times but just haven’t been able to get in to, maybe I’m just reading the wrong books? I was going to try Carry On by Rainbow Rowell what do you guys think?
- Read a book I didn’t choose. I love when my friends and family buy me books because usually their books that I wouldn’t have picked out myself and it’s always fun to try something new. My book for this category is going to be “More Than This” by Patrick Ness. I’ve never read a Patrick Ness book before but I’ve heard great things.
- Read a classic. Okay, I know that literally everybody puts this on their list but I actually think this is the one I’m going to struggle with the most. I’ve already picked the book to read and its just as cliche as the goal…
There we go! Those are my reading goals for 2016. What are yours??
Until next time…

These are awesome goals. I reread HP for the first time last month and it was such an incredible experience. Have fun and good luck with your goals!

Thanks so much!! I actually started yesterday I figured there would be no better time after I heard about Alan Rickmans passing.

Hi, I enjoyed reading your post on your new goals! Yet I do not see a poetry book there. May I suggest California Notebooks? It’s a free verse book, an easy approach to poetry, nonetheless powerful. It will take you new places. I’m the author and although I’ve published other books this is my first bilingual collection! Have a look http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/8893069806?vs=1 I would love for you to add it to your wonderful list! Hope this suggestion is welcome by you, as I’ve never done this before… have a wonderful week-end, Anna
