Dear 2016

Dear 2016,

What can I say? You were not the year I expected and I have to say it seems like nobody enjoyed you; including me. I knew from day fourteen you would be my least favourite year so far and you continued to prove that as the months passed by. You were by far my most challenging year and while you weren’t my favourite year I do think it’s important to acknowledge that you weren’t all bad, there were some parts of you that I did enjoy. This year I received my diploma in teaching drama which is something I am incredibly proud of. I also got to experience the hype of a Harry Potter book launch thanks to the Cursed Child coming out something I always wished I could have been at when I got into the Harry Potter fandom.  I got to spend a lot of time with my friends and family this year attending weddings, debs or just meeting up in town something I can always look back on. Until I started to write this blog post I hadn’t actually realized how many theatre projects I was able to take part whether it was on-stage or off and getting preferred part in our third-year college play which I cannot wait to get stuck into when we get back from our holidays.  I’m so glad I started this blog this year because it means I have a place where I can look back on all these memories of days out, or the great books I read and films I saw. In conclusion, 2016, you were a tough year for all, but we got through, time for you to go now though.

Goodbye 2016,

Dear 2017

Please be kind.
